"Computers themselves, and software yet to be developed, will revolutionize the way we learn."

-Steve Jobs

Did You Know?

  • In 1980, the first one gigabyte disk drive was released in the world. It was a whopping US $40,000 with the weight of 550 pounds

  • Konrad Zuse was the inventor of the first computer in the world in 1936 and he named it the Z1

  • Did you know that you blink up to 20 times a minute, but only blink 7 times a minute when you’re using a computer

ENG 105 can be compared to the work a computer program

First, starting up the computer is the warming up of the English 105 Hybrid-In-Progress Class. Although the start of the computer programs may be difficult, and you may get lost in the tremendous amount of work that are new to us, it will get easier and simpler as the user gets used to the programs. The students will get used to the work that is essential to this class.

The running of the program is the working of the class in clock-work. The ability to become an expert on the program software will allow the user to easily manipulate the program software, like how the students will slowly get used to the work ethic needed to complete this course with high efficiency. Students will rise and fall with the rest of the class but it will be up to the students to catch up with the rest of the class using a plethora of resources given including their colleagues, the tutors, and the teacher conferences.

The shut off of the computer simulates the finishing of the quarter. The students will be able to finish their work with speed, efficiency, and high quality. The closing of this course is the validation a student need to know they have done all they can to achieve the highest quality they can achieve. Students will go from developing rookies to an expert by their own rights.

The outstanding goal of this course will be the printout of the final print out done on the computer, allowing us to look back at the work we have done and all the progress and process the students may have struggled through. The final printout will resemble all the achievements the students have achieved throughout the quarter.
